Back in December, when we were finishing last of the dates, father asked if they will grow up if planted. We decided to try. I was not sure anything'll happen, on internet I saw that dates need +25 to +30C to sprout, and it is around +23 in the flat. This year so far there is no snow, a couple of times we got some, but it was all gone within a day. But even in this unnatural weather it is time to get ready for Christmas. Or at least to get cards and addresses for them, so they won't arrive on Easter.

Workweek is finally over, and I even avoided having to come over on Saturday. I also finally got myself remote access, so now I won't have to explain to my colleagues what my dear users want and where/how to do it.

I am going to try and send one for myself, and a few extras won't be a problem. Although I make no promises, the person, I got idea from, says it is a problem to find a post-box in Dubai.

Russian Post is really something. I just got a Christmas Card from Poland, sent on 21st of December....
Somehow I suspect it won't be last. (News say there are 500 tons of international mail stuck at customs)
